Social Media Management Cost in Dubai (2026): What Each AED Budget Buys
November 5, 2026 · 5 min read · By Shafay, founder of MONOHAUS
Ask five Dubai agencies what social media management costs and you will hear anything from AED 1,500 to AED 15,000 a month. The spread is real, but most of it comes from three things: how many platforms are covered, who produces the content, and whether ad spend is hiding inside the number. This guide breaks the published 2026 price bands down by what you actually get.
Typical monthly price bands in Dubai
AED 300 - 1,000. Freelancers handling posting and captions for one platform, usually using photos you supply. Fine for keeping an account alive, not for growing one.
AED 1,500 - 3,000. Entry agency or studio packages: one or two platforms, 12 to 20 posts a month, designed graphics and captions. Video is limited or edited from your own footage.
AED 3,000 - 6,500. The band most Dubai small businesses end up in. Two platforms, around 20 posts, a few Reels, basic community management and a monthly report.
AED 8,500 - 18,000. Full-service retainers with a dedicated account manager, regular shoots, three or more platforms and ad campaign management. Right for multi-branch salons, clinics and restaurant groups.
These figures come from Dubai agencies' own published price guides, so treat them as asking prices rather than market averages. They are still useful for spotting a quote that is far outside the norm.
Ad spend is a separate line
Almost every package above excludes the money paid to Meta or TikTok for ads. Dubai small businesses commonly budget AED 2,000 - 10,000 a month on top for paid promotion, and some agencies add a management fee of 10 to 20 percent of spend.
When comparing quotes, ask each agency to write the management fee and the ad budget as two separate numbers. A AED 6,000 package that includes AED 3,000 of ad spend is really a AED 3,000 management fee.
What pushes a Dubai quote up
Bilingual content. English and Arabic captions, or separate Arabic creative, roughly doubles copywriting time. If most of your clients are English-speaking expats, you may not need it on every post.
On-location shoots. Photographers and videographers in Dubai bill by the half day or full day, and studio time in Al Quoz or crew travel to the Marina adds up. A package that includes a monthly shoot will cost more than one built on your own photos.
Response times. Round-the-clock DM and comment handling is a staffing cost. Most service businesses only need replies within business hours, with WhatsApp handling bookings.
Platform count. Each extra platform adds design resizing, captions and reporting. Instagram plus one more channel covers most salons, clinics and restaurants.
Local agency or remote studio
A growing number of Dubai businesses hire studios based elsewhere, typically in Pakistan, India or Eastern Europe, because the same scope costs less. The trade-off is that nobody is down the road to shoot on short notice.
The setup that works best is a remote team planning the calendar, designing, editing and writing captions, plus a local photographer or your own team shooting to a shot list once or twice a month. You get agency-level output without paying Dubai rates for every hour of desk work.
For reference, our own social media packages run from $399 a month (about AED 1,470) for 20 posts including 5 Reels, to $999 a month (about AED 3,670) for 35 posts with 12 cinematic Reels and full ad campaign management. We work across Jumeirah, Marina, Downtown and Business Bay remotely, with clients on WhatsApp in the same working day.
Red flags in a Dubai quote
Follower guarantees. Nobody can guarantee followers honestly. Bought followers hurt reach and are easy for prospective clients to spot.
Long lock-ins. Six- or twelve-month minimums with no exit are common, but a confident agency will work month to month after an initial period.
No content ownership. Make sure the designs, photos and videos made for your account belong to you if you leave.
Reports with no bookings. Likes and reach are fine, but a monthly report should also show enquiries, WhatsApp clicks and bookings.
A sensible starting budget
For a single-location salon, clinic, spa or restaurant in Dubai, AED 2,000 - 4,000 a month for management, plus AED 1,500 - 3,000 in ads once the content is consistent, is a realistic starting point. Spend the first two months getting the feed and Reels right before scaling ad spend.
