WordPress Website Price in Pakistan (2026): What Each Quote Includes
August 15, 2026 · 7 min read
Roughly four in five business websites built in Pakistan are WordPress, which is why almost every quote you receive is a WordPress quote whether or not the word appears in it. The prices still range from PKR 20,000 to PKR 200,000 for a brief that sounds identical each time. The difference is rarely the platform. It is what the builder does with it, and what they leave for you to pay later.
What the build actually costs
**PKR 20,000 - 45,000.** A purchased theme installed close to its demo, four to six pages, your logo and text dropped into the existing layout. Two or three plugins for a contact form and basic SEO. You supply the copy and the photos. This is a working online presence, not a lead engine.
**PKR 50,000 - 100,000.** The band most salons, clinics, cafes and service businesses should be shopping in. A theme reshaped rather than reskinned, six to ten pages, mobile-first layout tested on real phones, a booking or WhatsApp enquiry flow that works, on-page SEO set up properly, and someone structuring your content instead of pasting it.
**PKR 120,000 - 250,000.** Custom design built on a page builder or a bespoke theme, copywriting included, speed work done deliberately, and integrations such as payments, booking systems, or a CRM. Worth it when the site is your main source of enquiries rather than a brochure people check after seeing your Instagram.
The charges that sit outside the build price
This is where WordPress quotes diverge most, because these are usually annual and usually unmentioned.
**Premium theme:** PKR 7,000 - 15,000, often a one-time purchase but sometimes an annual licence. Ask which.
**Paid plugins:** PKR 2,000 - 10,000 each per year. A booking plugin, a forms upgrade, and an SEO plugin add up quickly, and most stop receiving updates when the licence lapses.
**Hosting:** PKR 8,000 - 30,000 a year. WordPress is heavier than a static site, so cheap shared hosting shows up as slow pages far sooner. Speed affects both rankings and how many people finish a booking form.
**Care plan:** PKR 2,500 - 15,000 a month for updates, backups and fixes. This one is not optional the way agencies imply. WordPress core, theme and plugins all update on separate schedules, and an unmaintained site is the most common way a small business site gets defaced or broken.
Add those up before comparing proposals. A PKR 60,000 build with PKR 60,000 of annual running costs is not cheaper than a PKR 90,000 build with PKR 20,000.
WooCommerce changes the maths
Selling products on WordPress means WooCommerce, and WooCommerce means more moving parts: a payment gateway, shipping rules, tax settings, and usually two or three paid extensions. Expect PKR 80,000 - 200,000 to build and materially higher hosting, because a store cannot be cached as aggressively as a brochure site.
If you sell four services rather than forty products, you do not need a store. A clear pricing page and a WhatsApp enquiry flow converts better and costs a fraction to run.
When WordPress is the wrong choice
WordPress earns its place when you publish often, need many pages, or want to edit content yourself without calling anyone. That describes plenty of businesses.
It is the wrong call when you need five pages that rarely change. In that case you are paying for a database, a plugin stack, and a monthly maintenance obligation to serve content that never moves. A static build loads faster, costs less to host, and has almost nothing to keep patched.
Nobody should choose a platform because a builder only knows one. If a studio cannot explain why WordPress suits your specific site, that is a reason to ask more questions.
Five questions that expose a thin quote
Ask these before signing anything: Which theme, and is its licence one-time or annual? Which paid plugins, who renews them, and at what cost? Where is it hosted, in whose account, and what does that cost per year? Is copywriting included or am I writing it? Do I receive the hosting login, the domain, and full ownership at the end?
That last one matters most. Some cheap builds keep your site inside the agency's hosting account, which means leaving requires rebuilding from scratch.
The honest answer
For most Pakistani service businesses, a properly built WordPress site costs PKR 50,000 to PKR 100,000, plus roughly PKR 20,000 to PKR 45,000 a year to keep running safely. Below that band you are buying a demo install with your logo on it. Above it, check you are paying for functionality you will actually use rather than a heavier build than your business needs.
